Conditions first. The track rating is confirmed before a single tip is read — it decides which horses matter and whether the wet-track column comes out.

One vote per tipster. Brad Davidson, Ozracingform, Wintelligence, the Best Bets racebooks, the GetOn panel, Racing.com's state tipsters. People are counted, not columns — a tipster on two mastheads still counts once.

Consensus tiers. Mega Lock, Lock, Premium, Roughie — sized by how many independent sources agree, then adjusted for price. A Sack call is a hard no.

Results feed back. Every pick is stored; results are matched automatically and the tipster scoreboard builds week on week, so the weights eventually earn themselves.
